Head Coach - Erin Brown

Erin has worked a few jobs within the Robbinsdale School District, but is currently working in the Cooper Athletic Office as a Program Assistant, which is where she'd like to stay.  It is a familiar surrounding for her as she graduated of Cooper.  Following high school, Erin earned her degree in sociology and criminology at the U of MN where she played softball for the Gophers from ‘96-’99. Since graduation, she’s coached a combination of high school and traveling teams around the metro area and also spent a year in Texas coaching at Howard College. Upon her return from Texas in 2003, she began coaching at Cooper (‘95) as an assistant to her former coach. The 2017 season marks her 15th year with the Cooper Hawks.
Aside from softball ...Erin has no life :) Just kidding! Honestly, softball is her job, but it is also her passion. She spends her summers on the ballfield watching her littles play baseball.  When time allows, she also enjoys playing/coaching volleyball, photography, supporting U of MN Athletics, and of course spending time with friends and family, especially her 4 favorite people in the world — husband, Scott and little angels Zander (9), Madden (7), and Mazy (3).
