2016 SUMMER STRENGTH TRAINING & CONDITIONING PROGRAM

This camp provides athletes with the edge they need to take their abilities over the top. This year’s camp will meet four days a week for approximately 90 minutes per session throughout the summer. Sessions will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday focusing on strength, conditioning, flexibility, speed improvement, agility, and quickness. Participants will learn proper techniques and mechanics for weight training, stretching, and agility drills specific to their sport(s). The program will be taught by a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and assisted by the head coaches of many of the other varsity sports programs.

Dates: Monday-Thursday, June 13- July 28 (no class week of July 4)
Session 1: Grades 6-8 9:00-10:00am (T & Th)
Session II: Female Athletes Only 10:00-11:30am (M-Th)
Session III: Grades 9-12 11:30am-1:00pm (M-Th)
Session IV: Grades 9-12 1:00-2:30pm (M-Th)

Location: Cooper High School, 8230 47th Ave N
Fee: $66 (gr. 9-12)
$35 (gr. 6-8)

Must be entering the eligible grade in the fall of 2016.


Earn a Varsity Letter
Participants entering grades 9-12 in the fall can earn a varsity letter in weight training based on attendance, participation, and meeting their individual training goals after completion of the program.
